列車を降り由布院の駅を出た時に、正面に見える由布岳は曇り空であまり美しいとはいえなかった。
少しがっかりしたのですが程なく駅前でレンタル自転車に乗り佛山寺に向かいました。
佛山寺ではひと通り見て回ったのち、由布岳にゆかりのあるこの仏に晴れますようにと願って、
本堂の賽銭箱に左のポケットにある500円と100円以外の小銭を全部入れました。
翌日は雨の予想だったが、みごとに晴れて驚きました。
