今年も晩秋の京都はこんな感じかなぁ

京都市東山区にある、鷲峰山 (じゅぶさん) 高台寺。
亡き豊臣秀吉を弔うために正室 (正妻)の北政所 (ねね)が寺院の建立を願い西暦1606年に設立。
はじめは禅宗で曹洞宗の寺院だったが、西暦1624年に同じく禅宗の建仁寺派に改宗、本尊は釈迦如来。
禅宗ならではの季節折々の庭園に、ねねという女性の主ならではの繊細な趣がある寺院と言われている。
近くには、北政所 (ねね)の終焉の地とされる同じく建仁寺派の円徳院がある。




Ginkakuji of autumn 京都市左京区 銀閣寺

京都市左京区にある、東山(とうざん) 慈照寺 通称銀閣寺。
西暦1473年に足利義政の隠居の住まいを死後に慈照寺として設立、本尊は釈迦如来。
禅宗で臨済宗相国寺の境外塔頭。
建物は国宝、国の特別史跡と特別名勝にも指定されており、京都でも有名な観光名所で四季折々の姿をみせる庭園がある。

By the way, there is a dojo training of monks, I see occasionally a monk.

京都市上京区相国寺門前町にある、萬年山 相国寺(しょうこくじ)。
西暦1382年に開山したと伝わる、本尊は釈迦如来。
禅宗で臨済宗相国寺派の本山。
金閣寺・銀閣寺の山外塔頭(統括する寺院)です。
作ったのは、金閣寺と同じ足利義満。
ちなみに僧侶の修行道場があり、雲水さん(修行僧)を時折見かける。
