世界最古の木造建築物群でユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている。
多くの建物は国宝で、日本でも特に有名な寺院で観光名所です。




この阿形と吽形は711年に安置された、これも日本最古の金剛力士像です。
阿吽の呼吸や阿吽の仲などの語源にもなっています。

西暦1336年には創建されていたと伝わる。
中国の伝説 七夕(たなばた)で有名な神社で、
地域には星田や天野川に織姫と牽牛が出逢う橋などがある。
祭神は天棚機比売大神で織姫です。

Holy water and Kannon faith is the famous temple.
Kobo Daishi Kukai remain in 811 AD, to see the state of the mother monkey wash the eyes of child's monkey ,
The transmitted stir in the fresh water Vajra continued prayer incantation of 17 days, it became a Holy water to ask the eye disease.
And 4500 shares of hydrangeas were recently planted.
May be used for imaging the location of the movie.

西暦806年に開山したと伝わる、本尊は十一面千手千眼観世音菩薩像。
観音信仰と独鈷水が有名なお寺です。
弘法大師 空海が西暦811年に立ち寄り、小猿の目を洗う母猿の様子を見て、
17日間の加持祈祷を続け独鈷で清水をかき回し、眼病に効く霊水になったと伝わる。
そして、最近になって4500株のアジサイが植えられました。
映画の撮影場所に使われることもある。

江戸時代に流行した十三仏信仰に岩の配置に見立てた石庭です。
