この像は第二次世界大戦の前ごろに寄進されたもので、
いわれ(物語)があります。

僕はしばらく、この仏像の名前がわかりませんでしたが、
お参りに来ていたおばさんに"私は無学だけど"と
謙遜されながら教えてもらうことができました。

奈良県生駒郡斑鳩町にある法隆寺。
西暦607年に推古天皇と聖徳太子により創建、本尊は釈迦如来。
世界最古の木造建築物群でユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている。
多くの建物は国宝で、日本でも特に有名な寺院で観光名所です。
